I make art because life is full of little moments worth capturing. The colors, the oddities, the beauty, and everything in between.
Born and raised in Florida, I’m inspired by the bright, sun-soaked energy around me. For me, art is about having fun, staying curious, and seeing the world a little differently. I created Frankie's Junk Drawer because I love painting, sketching, playing with bold colors, and letting each piece take on a life of its own. I’m drawn to things that feel nostalgic, alive, colorful, and a little unexpected.
Whether I’m capturing a person, a place, an animal, or a fleeting moment, I want my work to feel like a snapshot of life through my eyes: bright, genuine, and full of personality.
If I'm Rachel.. Who is Frankie?
Frankie’s Junk Drawer is named after my soul pet, Frankie, the loudest, funniest, most wonderfully unique calico cat I’ve ever known.
Born deaf, Frankie never let the world’s silence keep her from making herself heard. She had a personality bigger than life, a voice all her own, and a way of filling every room with her presence. Somehow, she was the perfect match for me, a little weird, endlessly expressive, and completely one-of-a-kind.
I named this brand after her because Frankie’s Junk Drawer is meant to carry that same spirit: a collection of quirky, colorful, meaningful little treasures, each one with its own story and personality.
